The Haunting Sounds of Bach

>> Tuesday, October 30, 2007

The following is a ghostly, sexy, modern, interpretation of Bach's organ Toccata & Fugue in D minor, using piano and orchestra, by pianist Myleene Klass. (You purists can click here for the traditional organ version) For me, it just isn't Halloween until I hear this piece of music!

Memories of freshman orientation--OBU. Also, when we were in Latvia, Halloween for the boys was me wrapping a towel around my head like Bob Marley, Scrooge's partner (ghost), put the Toccata and Fugue on, turn out all the lights and chase them through the house. Oh, the screaming, squealing, and giggling that went on. Fun times/happy memories!
